Like a good, clean batch of their namesake, The Disco Biscuits only come around the NYC metropolitan area every so often, teasing Biscuit-heads with scattered domestic and international appearances. But when it really matters, like on the biggest party of the year, they come around, as powerful and steadfastly heady as ever. Boys and Girls – it’s that time of year again: The Disco Biscuits New Year’s Run is coming to New York City to close out the year and bring in the next with a bang, and a whole lot of twang. In the style of Antoine Dodson, grab your friends, grab your ravers, grab your wooks…cuz they playin’ every ditty up in here! The Disco Biscuits continue the holiday tradition at the amazing Best Buy Theater from December 26 – 29 (Ages 16+, Doors open at 7), with the real party on December 31st, New Year’s Eve, at the massive, epic Theater at Madison Square Garden.New Year’s Eve in Biscuit Town is an All-Ages Show. The Disco Biscuits’ first two shows on the 26th and 27th will begin at 8pm, while the shows on the 28th, 29th, and 31st will begin at 11pm—essentially making them Phish after shows. The band performed at the same venues on the same nights for their 2012 New Year’s Eve run. Fans will be able to purchase five-night passes for the run via the Disco Biscuits’ website, while general admission tickets will be available through Ticketmaster. http://sensiblereason.com/disco-biscuits-nye-run/ http://www.glidemagazine.com/hiddentrack/category/disco-biscuits/
