If you’re a music buff, then you’re in luck! From country to jazz to rock to EDM, a slew of music festivals are taking place this month all across the country. First up, there’s Snowball Fest, April 4th – 6th, in Denver, Colorado. If you’re not ready for Spring Break just yet and want to snowboard during the day and listen to music at night, then this is the festival for you. The line-up includes Busta Rhymes, Afroman, and Pretty Lights, just to name a few.
One of the more popular festivals, Coachella, is held over two weekends:April 11th – 13thand 18th – 20thin Indio, California. Headliners include OutKast, Muse, and Arcade Fire. This year, Coachella sold out in less than three hours, so those who still want to go – well – unless you don’t mind pissing away a ridiculous amount of cash for a wristband that may not even be legit, you might have to cry yourself to sleep while your friends are out partying.
If you’re into country music, there’s Stagecoach, also in Indio, California on April 25th – 27th. Headliners include Eric Church, Jason Aldean, and Luke Bryan. Then, there’s Moogfest in Asheville, North Carolina on April 23rd – 27th. Labeled as “The Synthesis of Technology, Art, and Music,” the five-day festival will not only feature music performers such as MIA and the Pet Shop Boys, but will also have public art exhibits and music workshops.
And lastly, there’s the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, which takes place over two weekends on April 25th – 27th and May 1st – 4th.
